Good News!

I will start with today's good news. The harness is working wonderfully for Johnathan, he is almost to "normal" values for his dysplasia! So the plan is that he'll be seen by Dr. Caird again in 3 weeks, and then 3 weeks after that have another ultrasound and hopefully go down to only needing to wear the harness at night! Mady's ultrasound also looked good today, she doesn't need to be seen again for 6 months! Today Johnathan weighed 9lbs 5 1/2ozs (the harness weighs 4ozs) and Mady weighed 7lbs 13ozs.

Madelyn, Johnathan, Annabel

What cute butts - thanks Erica!!

The babies have been doing really well. On Monday Johnathan gave us his first real giggles when I got home from work and Mady giggles for Grandma and Grandpa on Wednesday. Mady also gave her brother a first real acknowledgement smile today - that was pretty neat to see! Annabel continues to jabber and is really developing her true voice (what a relief!!). Mady's head shape has greatly improved these last two weeks so there may still be a chance that she won't need a helmet, we'll see what their Early On PT says tomorrow. All three babies are now on Zantac, it seems to be helping Mady so hopefully it will help Johnathan too!
