The pictures shared in this post are the 9 month ones I took of them - how different they will be soon!
This morning we took the babies for their Opthomology follow-up and as a result all three babies will now have glasses. Johnathan is very nearsighted and has quite a bit of stigmatism so he will have the thick lenses (can we say lasik candidate some day?) and Mady has pretty good vision (is a little nearsighted) but has some stigmatism, which hopefully the glasses will help her to lessen this. Annabel's glasses are helping her to not cross her eyes as often so hopefully they will help her straighten out and not require surgery but at this point only time will tell as her eyes could still settle out in the crossed position instead of straight. So on t
he way home we ordered Johnathan and Mady's glasses, Johnathan's will be a bronze/brown color and Mady's will be pink, kind of like Annabel's but slightly different color and a different shape so hopefully we'll be able to tell them apart! Johnathan won't get his glasses for about 2 weeks as he is special order but Mady should get her's in a week. I told B.J. that we will definitely have to contribute more to our flexible spending next year since between the 3 of them we just dropped $500 on glasses!
This afternoon the babies had their 9 month well-baby appointment. The babies current stats are Annabel - 13lbs 14ozs and 25 3/4inches, Madelyn - 11lbs 6ozs and 24 1/2inches, and Johnathan - 13lbs 6ozs and 25 1/4inches. And Annabel is officially on the charts at 5% based on adjusted age, with Johnathan just about there!! The plan for the babies is to keep them on Neosure (22cal formula) until their 1 year b-day and then we will switch to whole milk, provided they have reached the 25th percentile for their adjusted age. Dr. Madison gave us the okay to start on meats as soon we're thru the fruits and we can start with yogurt now - such exciting stuff! As of today the babies met a huge milestone as they are now all med free except for their vitamin!

Our little man has definitely been thru it all!
