A Fun Weekend

What an exciting weekend! Somehow we were able to not only experience some new and exciting things with the kids; we also got a lot done around the house! Saturday morning Annabel had PT and the therapist was amazed at how she took off this week with her walking and her balance/weight-shifting when standing alone unsupported. She is so encouraged by all that Annabel is doing; it is now thought that she might need her walker for longer distances for awhile but that she will generally be walking without any form of assistance much sooner than we were originally thinking! In the back of my mind I had been hoping that she would be cruising along furniture by her 3rd b-day (for awhile I wasn’t sure this would happen) and she has already mastered it! Her PT thought she might actually take some steps by then, we will see!!

Saturday afternoon my parents and I took the kids to my multiples group spring event at Bounce in Hartland. It’s basically a big gymnastics hall and the kids loved it! I was very happy to see this given that Mady and Johnathan will be starting gymnastics this Saturday!

Sunday we had the March for Babies walk. I am proud to say that we not only met but actually surpassed our goal for fundraising! Thank you so much to all who contributed!! The weather was decent, a little chilly but the rain held off so that was great! Mickey Mouse was there greeting the kids and the trio loved him. Mady kept asking "where's Mickey" for the rest of the walk - can we say ready for Disney??I had a great time getting to know another mom of triplets (also 2 girls and a boy) that walked with us. At the end of the walk we took the kids out of the stroller to walk across the finish line. Mady and Johnathan held hands and walked across and we had Annabel next to them with Daddy assisting her in walking. She did her stepping all on her own and everyone was cheering and she had a HUGE smile on her face! There was a photographer there taking a ton of pics so I will definitely share them once I have them. Needless to stay mommy had many tears of joy!! I remember at last year’s walk that Mady and Johnathan had just started walking with more stability not too long before it, amazing what can change in a year!

Here are a couple videos of the kids doing some talking. Enjoy!

I can't beleive what a year can do, so what will the trio be doing next year! Love it and can't wait to see what this year bring them!
