Cranky Babies

We have found it amazing how a slight change in schedule can really mess with the babies. Last week we had three days in a row where we were gone during their afternoon naps for appointments so between that, daylight savings, and teething they have been SO cranky!! In case you were wondering we have generally been getting 10 hours of sleep from them since the beginning of February but not last night, no, last night was the worst in a long time! Oh well, I guess we can’t really complain about just a few here and there.

A rarity the last few days!

So at the pediatricians on Friday they tried to take Annabel’s blood pressure but were not successful due to the outdated equipment they have so we’re hoping that at tomorrow’s appointment they’ll have the equipment to do so, otherwise I might have to take her back to the hospital to have it read. Dr. Madison did say that if her blood pressure is what it read the other day that she will have to go on meds and see a specialist, apparently it is fairly common for preemies to have high blood pressure but she never had problems in the NICU so Dr. M’s thinking it was a one time thing - let’s pray so!

It has been so much fun seeing the babies change from week to week. They’re all jabbering quite a bit now and smiling like crazy! And they’re all sucking their thumbs and studying their hands like they’re such a big mystery. We will have to get them on video and get a clip up for everyone to see. I just love the conversations, they crack me up!

Johnathan and Chloe have become best buds!

This weekend our good friends (also Johnathan's Godparents) came to visit and while they were here Dani took some awesome pictures of the family! I was SO happy to finally get a family picture!
