New Adventures

Last Thursday (the babies b-day) we left for our camping trip with our neighbors. The day started out well and we were making great timing for getting to the campground. We hooked up our 5th wheel at my parents and were about ready to leave when B.J.'s truck started idling oddly and the service engine soon light came on. We decided to see what the driveability would be like and unfortunately it was terrible, really bad shifts and a major vibration so we ended up taking the truck to the local dealership (mind you, with the 5th wheel still attached). So we had to drop the camper in their lot and after three hours waiting (the babies were great, thank goodness!) they were able to get the part from the supplier and we were on our way. So not a great start to the trip and certainly not what I had planned for the babies 1st b-day but it all worked out in the end. Needless to say we were SO glad we had decided to leave the dogs at home with my parents, I can't imagine what that would have been like at the dealership!

The weekend was fun overall although on Saturday we were supposed to go to the lake for the day but it ended up raining all day so instead we took our first trip to MIS to see the car/craft show. It wasn't much to brag about but it was cool to see the track and be on the infield!

One of the best parts of the weekend is that on Sunday Mady started "Da-Da"!! All three babies have been making some great sounds lately, it is so cute listening to them babble away! Another awesome thing happened yesterday in that Annabel started rolling over her right side (she had always favored her left in the past)! Annabel has also been moving around a lot more in her crib lately, hopefully all good signs of things to come! This week our Early On PT, Shirley will see the babies on Thursday, Friday a.m. I take Johnathan for new hearing aid molds, and in the p.m. Johnathan an Mady have their helmet appointment - I'm curious to see what the result of that will be! I have more pictures to post and have taken some videos lately so hopefully I'll have time soon to figure out how to post those!
