Christmas Portraits

Here are the pictures from our Christmas photo shoot. Although none of the three are smiling, they at least are all looking at the camera so I was happy! And they even tolerated an outfit change!

Early On Speech and PT came for our weekly appointment on Friday and the Speech therapist was very happy with the excellent focusing Annabel was doing when she was talking to her and that she was imitating her, raising her eyebrows when Michelle did. While Michelle was working with flash word cards for Mady, she held up the Dog one and right away Mady clearly said "doggie"!! And when she held up the Shoe card pointed to her shoes! So Michelle is not at all concerned about Mady's speech development and said that soon she'll be saying a lot of actual words. Johnathan also did well when working with the flash cards, focusing on her lips and listening to the words. Michelle is going to bring out a mirror for Annabel and Johnathan to use to use with us to work on seeing/feeling the sounds being made.
Shirley was very happy with how well Annabel is doing with weight-bearing, keeping both feet flat when standing, and her up and down movements. She is also happy to see how well Mady has improved on side-stepping and thinks that Johnathan is very close to taking his first steps on his own! Today he took one step and he has been letting go and standing still, unsupported, for a good 20 seconds at a time! Each day is so exciting in our house, it's fun to see which child has a new development next!

Awesome pictures! I can't believe you got all three looking at the camera, it took forever just to get our Jonathan to look in that direction!
