18 Month Well Baby

So our 18 month well baby was a little late, actually at 19 1/2 months because we waited until our pediatrician (Dr. Madison) was back from maternity leave. So here are the stats: Annabel - 19lbs 2ozs, 30 1/8 inches, Madelyn - 19lbs 7ozs, 30 1/4 inches, and Johnathan - 19lbs 6ozs, 30 inches. We are ALMOST to 20lbs and can then turn the car seats around which will make life so much easier! Dr. M. felt that Mady had by far changed the most since she last saw her. Mady is on track for speech development with 20 words and is actually ahead with her two-three word combos! Some new words this week are: baby, weee (when pushing a ride-on across the floor), and so big!

Tonight was aqua therapy for Annabel. The therapist (Allison) was super happy with how well Annabel has progressed this past week. She even had her standing, weight-bearing for quite a long time on the stairs in the pool and Annabel was actually happy doing it! At home she has been moving around more in her pony walker, taking more steps forward and backwards, has been happier on her belly, and is doing even better holding her sippy!

This week yet we have speech therapy for Johnathan on Thursday, Early On PT/OT on Friday, and then my parents and I are taking the kids for their 18 month pictures (also late) pictures on Friday.
