What a fun but busy weekend! This past weekend we went to NY to visit B.J.’s family for a few days. Prior to this I ended up taking Johnathan in to the pediatricians on Wednesday, double ear infection, his first. : ( The trio are finally getting better, not so much snotty noses and we’re back to only Annabel snoring, although it’s not as loud as it was. It is weird how long her congestion has stayed with her, I really think it’s been allergies that have been bothering them, maybe we’ll have to try something other than Claritin. I am just thankful that this go-round everything has stayed as upper respiratory, nothing has traveled to their lungs, tells me they’re getting much stronger!Thursday I had the Livingston Area Parents of Multiples (LAPOM) monthly meeting/elections. I am pleased to announce that I will be a member of the executive board this next year, serving as editor whose responsibility is to publish our monthly newsletter. I am excited to participate in the club more this year by serving in this role!

Last Friday our Early On PT came to see the kids and she is so pleased with how well Annabel is doing! She is sitting so well and is happily weight-bearing, even attempting to take a step or two with our help.
Shirley is going to bring a new walker to try her in this week; she thinks that Annabel will not need any of the heavy-duty walkers, just the assistance of one that goes behind for awhile that she can hold on to. Her progress, along with how well the other two have taken off is a great going away present for Shirley! Mady is now saying even more phrases such as
I get up and is associating so many more things properly such as the phone rings and she says Hi and calling the puppy Pete, just to name a few. She’s also doing very well doing the motions to songs, she is a riot, very dramatic and greatly desires attention! .
Johnathan is now waving appropriately to hi and bye and both of them can now stand themselves up in the middle of the floor without assistance. Shirley’s last day is this Friday, she will be moving to TN. : ( We will miss her dearly as she has been instrumental in getting our kids to where they are developmentally.
We left Friday afternoon for NY and came back last night. The kids overall did really well, minus a few gags/vomiting and Johnathan raising a stink and vomiting at bedtime (has been better again the last two nights so hopefully we’re out of this phase??).

Saturday we went and saw cousin Paige play b-ball and the kids had their first dine-in experience at McDonald’s (all I can say is that the highchairs are SO gross and thank goodness for Lysol wipes!!), Sunday we went to Grandma Year’s church and went out to eat after, and Monday there was a bbq at his parents’ house. A lot of our relatives came over to see the kids throughout the weekend and the weather was beautiful so we had them outside playing a lot, riding the gator - they loved it!

The dogs had a great time getting some exercise swimming in the pond, although they weren’t real sure of the puppies – Pete and Milt.

This Saturday Annabel will finally start her hippotherapy, I can’t wait!
