The last few days have been so beautiful!! We have been outside either swimming in the kids pool or playing on the swingset every day. I’m loving it!! This past weekend we went to my parents on Saturday afternoon to get the camper prepped for our upcoming trips. The kids had a ball playing and running around in their background!
Johnathan was a big helper, both with Daddy and Grandpa.
Mady was also a little helper but especially loved riding on the tractor with Grandpa. This Sunday Mady had her toes painted for the 1st time – boy did she love that!!
Annabel had a good time exploring the yard, walking, and discovering the toys Grandma had for them to play with. Annabel loves to be silly and her latest silliness is that she pretends she’s SO tired and will start pretend yawning. It’s adorable!
Today we had Annabel’s IEP for preschool, which was the last of the 3. I am so excited for the goals established for her, each of them are essential things for her to work on, not only for her position in life but also for her to continue to develop and learn from. In discussion with the speech therapist we have decided that she will start the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) when she starts school. We will still be working on verbal communication but the thought is that PECS will help alleviate some of her frustration from her delay in speech and allow her to continue to progress better with learning and daily function skills.
I am of course sad that they are growing up so fast but on the other hand I truly am excited for each of them, I think they will all grow and develop so much this next year and I think they’re ready for it!
