What a fun summer we are having! I love that we are finally able to get out with the kids so much and are able to let them experience all the “normal” things in life! Last weekend we went camping at Cedar Point with our good friends, the Krohns (who have twin girls – it was a site with ALL of us!!), the Schuettes and my niece Sarah came as our helper and to spend time with her cousins. We had beautiful weather and both days we went to the amusement park and water park. Everyone had a great time!
Last night we went to Howell’s Balloonfest with our good friends, the Shigleys. We had never been and it was so cool seeing all the balloons launch! We did stay for the fireworks display and it was by far the best I have seen! The kids loved all of it, not a one was scared during the fireworks. Johnathan and Mady had a ball with Laura’s dad and brother and with Justin. Justin was picking each of them up and twirling them and they were giggling so hard, sometimes you had to wonder if the kids or Justin were having more fun!?!
Tonight the kids played outside in the swimming pool. Because of the heat and bright sun Annabel decided to stay inside so these pics are just of Mady and Johnathan. They started out in the pool and ended up playing all around the deck. They had a ball discovering their shadows and walking in mommy’s shoes!
