9 Months Already?

The triplets turned 9 months old (adjusted to just under 6) today! They have officially all been home now longer than they were in the hospital! The babies got to do another "first" today - we took them on their first walk around the block tonight since it was so nice out! We even took Hershey and Chloe too! It was good for everyone to get some fresh air.

There have been lots of developments going on lately. Johnathan has been rolling from his back to his tummy quite a bit and has snuck a few rolls from his tummy to his back. This afternoon I caught him napping on his tummy for this first time, and with his helmet on! This picture is of him rolling to and on top of Chloe, and Chloe loved it!

Annabel continues to roll to her sides a lot and has done a few rolls from tummy to back. This week she has been doing really well with focusing on us and her siblings and having conversations and giggling. She has also been doing well with holding things with her right hand, still working on her left hand - it's at least not as tight as it was. She's also been doing better at mimicking us, like sticking her tongue out, etc.

Madelyn continues to enjoy her new found skill of rolling and is working on saying ma ma and ba ba.

Johnathan has had a harder time adjusting to the helmet than Madelyn but they will soon be wearing them almost 24/7 so hopefully things will get better then. Only one more week until Johnathan will (hopefully) but out of his harness for good! Next Friday Johnathan has what should be his final pulmonary appointment and in the afternoon all three babies have an audiology appointment (Johnathan's usual, follow-up because of being preemies for the girls). As for solids, all three babies liked green beans and we are now on to peas. Next we get to try swee potatoes! Next week we'll start adding cereal in the morning too! Adding in the solids has definitely made things crazier but it's a lot of fun too! The babies current weights are: Annabel - 13lbs 13 1/2 ozs, Madelyn - 10lbs 12ozs, and Johnathan - 12lbs 9ozs. Yes, Mady will always be our peanut. : ) I think that because she's moving so much now that she probably won't ever get the chunky thighs and cheeks like her siblings have. She's gaining appropriately so that's all that matters! I can't believe how big they're all getting, it seems like they're growing up way too fast!
