Another Trip to the ER

Sunday night we ended up taking Johnathan to the ER at the U. He had started breathing a little harder late last week and I had started him on the albuterol inhaler and he seemed to be doing fine, a little bit of sneezing a slightly runny nose but no major coughs or anything and the breathing appeard to be better. Well, yesterday afternoon/early evening every time he'd start playing he'd start breathing really fast and shallow and retracting so I gave him a nebulizer treatment which did help initially but after another hour or so he was back to the same situation where if he was calm he was breathing fine but with any activity he'd breath hard so we took him in. He consistently sat at 95% while in the ER so he wasn't admitted, instead he was given a breathing treatment there, monitored for a few hours and sent home on a short, low-dose burst of orapred. Johnathan was whooped by the end of the night (we didn't get home until 11:30) and he crashed hard on Daddy. He seems to be doing better today so hopefully we'll get over this one quickly I am praying that this isn't a sign of how our winter is going to be. Please pray for our little man's lungs to grow strong quickly!

On Saturday the trio dressed in their MSU attire and showed us some cute smiles, eventhough the game was a tough one to watch! Annabel has had another couple of awesome days, willing sitting on her own for a good 30 seconds, rolling over and back on her own to play, tolerating tummy time very well, and overall just being happy, focusing, and quite talkative! That girl keeps amazing us and continues to get us worried but then does whatever we were worried about like it was no big deal! I love it!

My mom picked up a cute Dora walker/rider for the girls at a garage sale and tonight we had Mady and Annabel on it together and all was going well until they accidentally conked heads. Oops! Annabel was not too impressed and had quite the meltdown eventhough she was fine. She is definitely our little drama queen!
