I can’t believe it’s already been over a week since I last posted, especially with everything that’s gone on in this last week! Last Saturday (10/4) B.J. and I went to the UofM vs. Illinois game and although they lost we had a great time having some couple time and treated ourselves to Red Lobster (my favorite) for dinner. Thank you to Grandma and Grandpa for watching the babies! In the last week, here are the exciting things that have been happening:

Annabel – She has started rolling a lot more and is even doing continuous rolls at times! She’s been using her left hand a lot more for support, not necessarily using it as her main hand yet but definitely more than she was! And last week she reached down to her sippy cup when in her highchair, focusing on it and wanting to bring it to mouth!
Madelyn – She is sitting perfectly now and is doing well with looking/extending left. Throughout the week she had been tugging at her left ear off and on but it didn’t seem like it was because of it bothering her, then Thursday night she started tugging on her right ear so I decided to take her in to the pediatrician Friday a.m.. Sure enough, right ear infection, but her left looked fine which was surprising! The trio go in to the pediatricians on Thursday for synagis and flu vaccine so needless to say I’m now requesting a doctor to come look at their ears to make sure all is finally cleared up! I think Annabel is better because she’s been downing her bottles lately but Mady is already finished with her Zythromax and I’m not convinced it’s completely cleared up.Johnathan – To start he has learned to pull himself up in the pack-n-play to stand and as of today now pulls himself up in his crib too – with his sleepsack on!

He is also sidestepping some along the fireplace as he plays. He is 100% all boy. I am convinced he will be one who will have lots of bumps and bruises as the kid is fearless! He is bound and determined to play with our entertainment devices and stops at nothing to get to them. In the past week he had his other top tooth pop thru and one of his bottoms! He has been doing really well with eating – finger feeding things like waffles, puffs, crunchies, and opening for the silver (yes, silver) spoon! He has taken over as leader of the pack in weight, now weighing just shy of 18lbs. We have really noticed that since we’ve figured out how to keep his hearing aids in that in the last couple of week s he has been babbling a lot and now says ma-ma, da-da, and ba-ba! In fact, last Friday
the Early On Speech therapist visited and classified all three as “normal” for their adjusted age! I love that word!! Hopefully their speech will continue to develop appropriately and not be delayed. The speech therapist was so happy to hear how awesome all three, and especially Johnathan, were doing because being preemies, let alone having significant hearing loss can make a child very susceptible to speech delays. Here’s pictures of all them with their 1st teeth

So it was a very exciting week for us. It seems like every day somebody is doing something new
and it is NEVER quiet in our house anymore!! : ) We love it! This past Saturday I participated in selling at my first mom-to-mom sale and did quite well, although I didn’t sell hardly any of my larger items so I have craigslisted them. Anyone know of someone who needs car seats, bouncies, a swing, or a triplet stroller? Yesterday was my mom’s b-day and although we didn’t get to spend a lot of time with her, the babies were able to sneak a quick picture.P.S. Mady loved helping with the wrapping paper for her gift so this Christmas should be interesting!
This week is going to be a busy one. We have PM&R tomorrow, synagis/flu on Thursday, Early
On Friday morning, and audiology Friday afternoon. And we are planning to go to the pumpkin patch one night with cousin Renee if the weather cooperates.
