Yesterday afternoon both Madelyn and Johnathan started vomitting also. Thankfully Annabel was already done with that part because it was crazy enough trying to help/comfort them, clean-up messes, do the laundry, etc. Last night I could tell that my mom was getting weaker and weaker and about an hour before we were going to do baths to clean them up she got sick too. So my dad held Mady over the sink (she was still getting sick - she is just like her momma, HATES to get sick and tries to stop) while bathed the other two and got them to bed. I ended up taking a chance with Mady that she was done when I bathed her and thankfully we had a quiet night, no more vomitting. My dad did however get it overnight too. So this morning I was on my own and I must say I am exhausted! Mady and Johnathan are doing quite a bit better, drinking their pedialyte and eating crackers so tomorrow we'll head back to "normal" with them but Annabel has me very worried. She was still very fussy with her bottle today and quite irritable, I am not sure what to make of it. There are just SO many variables in her life right now - surgery, flu, change in meds, not eating solids yet, and the list goes on. My mind is a mess right now trying to figure out what to do - and I have to say it is SO hard not having B.J. here to consult with. I've decided that tomorrow morning we'll try solids with her like the others and maybe try milk instead of pediasure and also give tylenol and zantac and see how she does. If she's still so fussy and irritable I'm going to have to take her back to the ER just to make sure the shunt is fine. Please pray that she is doing much better tomorrow and that she gets back to the glimpse of Annabel that we saw last Friday and Saturday! It is so disheartening seeing her like this again, when we know how she should be.
