Updates and Saline Fair Pics

Thursday the trio had their opthamology appointment. Good news for Annabel is that both of her eyes are turning in from time-to-time which means that BOTH eyes are working! The key is to get them working together all the time, ideally by correcting with glasses and patching. The dr. said that she is still borderline for if she'll need surgery for the muscles at some point, only time will tell. Madelyn was the shining star with a change in script for the better (and go figure, she's the one who wears them the least, finally starting to keep them on for meals)! Johnathan faired the worst, his script changed from -11.xx and -12.xx to -14.00 and -14.25. : ( Not sure if it's that he sat more still this time and they could get a better evaluation or if he's truly that much worse. Needless to say Johnathan will be getting new glasses. I asked the dr. if we know if he'll be able to drive or not someday and again, only time will tell by him telling us what he can/can't see. I was speaking with a family friend who said that the law is that as long as one eye can see 20/40 with correction then you can drive, so we are praying that will be the case!

Last weekend we went to Saline Fair - and yes, the dude got a big glue ribbon for his b&w picture taken at 2 years! Thanks again Rachael for helping! Here are some pics...

So good to see pics of your little ones. Wish we could have seen you at the Saline Fair. Maybe next year! G and I still read your blog all the time even though we don't often comment. Thanks for keeping us updated on you guys.
