The end of last week was also a great week. Johnathan saw Dr. Capone at Beaumont on Thursday and he has discharged him as a patient - yeah!! We received Mady's bloodwork results and everything looks great so she is does have liver disease (huge sigh of relief!).
Early On was very happy with Annabel's progress with her legs on Friday! However, Mady's range of motion looking left is not great so we need to really work on that to avoid her needing to wear a helmet for a few months to correct it. Johnathan is better than Mady but also needs additional work so needless to say we are majorly concentrating on that this week! Please keep them in your prayers regarding this matter.
All three babies have been smiling like crazy lately - especially Madelyn! She has been so attentive to us, mimicking our expressions and babbling back to us. Johnathan has also been doing a lot of babbling and has been doing well with his hearing aids. We are a tad concerned with Annabel regarding babbling because although she cries and she looks like she wants to babble, she just hasn't let out any signs yet so we're not sure if this is due to damage that was done from the oxygen tube or if she's just a little behind the others with this milestone. Friday I take her to have her throat scoped to see if any damage was done (she has a very hoarse cry) so hopefully we'll learn more then. Please keep her in your prayers regarding this.
Overall things are going really well! It's hard to believe the babies will be 6 months this week! Their weights right now are Annabel 8lbs 5ozs, Madelyn 7lbs, and Johnathan 7lbs 9 1/2ozs.
