oday compared to where we started 6 months ago. Looking back it is hard to believe all the things our family went thru since last July. It has definitely made us a stronger family and has made us appreciate the simple things in life so much more. This morning started out pretty ironic. The girls woke up at 4:30 which was exactly when I woke up 6 months ago with pretty regular contractions and when it was decided that it was delivery day. Needless to say I initially wasn't thrilled about getting up so early but once I realized the irony of the situation I was quite happy to be feeding those babies right then!
The babies are doing well. Early On came today and continued to be happy with Annabel's leg movements, stating that she in no way sees anything that would cause her to make any negative remarks about her future leg usage at this time so that was great! She was also very happy to see Mady and Johnathan's improvements in their neck range of motions as well as how well they are reaching to play with toys, focusing on things, and their babbling and smiling. She did ask me to mention Mady's neck next week at her orthopedic appointment, they may want to do an x-ray to rule out any possible spinal abnormalities before Early On does any extensive stretching with her. Tomorrow I take Annabel to otolaryngology for her voicebox follow-up so please pray that everything goes well with that appointment - I'm not sure what to expect from this one.
At 6 months old Annabel and Johnathan are taking 5 ozs each feeding and Mady's taking 4 ozs. Their weights are: Annabel 8lbs 8 1/2ozs, Johnathan 8lbs, and Madelyn 7lbs 2ozs. Johnathan is quickly catching Annabel, I think he's determined to take back the lead!

We're so glad to hear how well the kiddos are doing. We can't wait to come visit in the spring!
