What an exciting week, it seems like new things have been happening around here every day lately! All three babies are now prop-sitting well and Johnathan even sat without propping for quite awhile in the grass on Saturday! Mady is constantly clapping now and is very proud of herself, it is SO cute!! The babies had their 1st bath in the big tub yesterday. Overall it was a success, but Annabel wasn’t real happy by the end of the bath but was loving it at first. The trickiest part is just the factor of keeping a constant hand and eye on 3 babies!
Mady’s two teeth are coming in more and more, she now chomps down on every spoonful of solids. We gave her a biter biscuit for the first time yesterday and she really liked that! She now loves her cheerios and her puffs and does great picking them up and feeding herself. Now if we can just get her to drink from her sippy instead of always chewing on it! Annabel has her left central incisor almost in, I can feel it! She is eating cheerios and puffs too but hasn’t tried a biter biscuit yet. All three have eaten a veggie stick but Annabel isn’t real sure of them. Yesterday I was able to successfully feed Johnathan 5 spoonfuls of yogurt and the veggie stick – yeah! I think it’s just going to be a long, slow process with him. The babies are finally starting to gain weight again after having our run of colds again. Their 13 month weights are: Annabel – 16lbs 10 1/2ozs, Madelyn – 14lbs 12ozs, and Johnathan – 16lbs 6 1/2ozs.
On Friday afternoon I received the call that Annabel will have her evaluation for the CHAMP program on August 28th . I am so excited for her! Annabel has been rolling over more and more and sleeping on her tummy quite a bit. Mady and Johnathan have been doing better with keeping their glasses on but sometimes there’s
just no stopping them pulling them off – it can be quite frustrating! And Johnathan has figured out how to pull out his hearing aids so now we have to watch him with that too!

Today I received the results from Mady’s recent bloodwork and her Vitamin D level is now considered normal (went from 202 in April to 83 on August 5th) and her bilirubin is also normal so she no longer needs to see GI and she now has a PAST history of Rickets – yeah!!
Saturday early afternoon we had our triplets and higher order multiples group family picnic and
in the early evening we had my friend from high schools couples/family bridal shower. The babies got to ride in their big kid car seats for the first time and use their big kid stroller. Annabel really liked the new seat but Johnathan kept wanting to lean forward which made us nervous. He did better by the end of
the trip so hopefully he’s getting used to it.

This weekend we’re going camping Thursday thru Sunday with our good friends, their 1 ½ year old twin girls and 4 year old son, and their extended families. Next weekend we’re going to NY for the weekend, and then the weekend after that is the county fair in the town where I grew up. I’m already tired just thinking about it all but it will be fun! Shortly after that we’ll have to start hunkering down again for the winter and be cautious of all those nasty germs that start spreading.
