ENT

What a great follow-up we had to the ENT this morning! First, Johnathan stood on the scale (clothed) and weighed 21 lbs 5 ozs, then Annabel sat up like a big girl on the scale (I was so proud of her!, she was clothed too) and weighs 20 lbs 8ozs!! So we should be able to turn her car seat around soon! Looks like Mady will be the last to get turned, our little peanut again!

Anyway, actually seeing the ENT also went well. Annabel's tonsils are completely normal in size and the doctor doesn't feel there's any need to do a scope and check her adnoids at this time being that she's no longer symptomatic. She said that adnoids grow to their full size by 2 years so we're doing good. Johnathan was checked over and everything looked great. We reviewed his genetic test results thus far and the standard hearing loss genetic tests (Connexin 26 and Connexin 30) came back completely normal so the ENT also thinks that his hearing loss is due to his NICU requirements and nothing more but we will know the results from mine and the girls bloodwork in a few weeks which will hopefully provide a bit more light on it. So because of how well the kids are doing neither of them are scheduled for a return visit, they are now as needed. Yeah!!!
